Woody is our 4th Australian Labradoodle. Our 1st ALD was shipped to us from Australia when the breed was just being introduced in the United States. He was the best! This led to a second one. Our first two passed due to old age, which led to a third. We decided we wanted a second one to be a companion to our other ALD and we missed having two! We knew we didn’t need to look outside the U.S. anymore to find another Australian Labradoodle with the same qualities and standards as our originals from Australia. We also knew we didn’t want a puppy at this point. This led us to Country Labradoodles and purchasing “Woody”! Woody has fit into our family perfectly. He is sweet, sensitive, and willing to please all while being goofy! He has the silkiest wavy fleece coat I have had yet. Liz was so helpful in talking to me and making sure we found the right choice for us and for her dogs. It was obvious that in Woody’s 9 months with them, he had been well cared for and loved. As with any older dog, it took a few weeks for him to trust us and gain confidence, but it was a smooth transition all the way around and the bond he has with us and our other ALD is as strong as if we had got him as a puppy.
