We chose to use Rutlands Baby Joey on Piper because of the proven temperaments behind both of these magnificent dogs. As well as the quality of the dogs themselves. Both Piper and Joey have many champion ancestors.  Piper is 3 this year and this will be her first litter.

Piper is magnificent in her own way, she is the culmination of 20 Years of our breeding program, she is structurally a very sound dog and never puts a foot out of place,  she is well balanced with many champion ancestors.  Piper has overcome a near tradgey at the hands of another breeder getting loose and running along the freeway in Conneticut for 5 days in June of 2023. She took a little bit of time to trust some individuals but has bounced back to the happy normal dog that she was before she left us in 2022. She enjoys hanging out on the Ranch and going to the beach, she is never far from where I am and is one of the most affectionate trusting dogs I have ever known. Maybe this is because I was the first person she was attached to after being recovered in a trap in the woods.

The litter has arrived and they are exactly as we had envisioned. They are advancing fast, like the Joey kids always did. They have an excellent connection to people already at a very young age. We have solid black females available. They will be large dogs with non shedding coats, great for families or possible service and therapy type dogs.
