Country Major Victory “Piper”
DAM: Country Major Attraction “Bentley”
SIRE: Country Outback Spot On “Tucker”
COUNTRY MAJOR VICTORY “PIPER”
PIPER IS OUR BEAUTIFUL BLACK & WHITE PARTI AUSTRALIAN LABRADOODLE
PIPER is the culmination of 23 years of breeding Labradoodles, and the result of 30 years of experience. She brings new foundation lines to our program through selective breeding practices to continue good genetic diversity. Pipers Dam’s side of the family is the result of infusing quality parent breeds into the established Australian Labradoodle lines. This practice enables us to keep good quality Standard size labradoodles in the lines, as well as not duplicating or in-breeding too close to established lines.
Piper has exceeded our expectations, not only is she near perfection from a structural standpoint, her intuitive nature is the reason that Purebred poodles have been used in so many dog breeds over the years. She is affectionate and loyal to her people that care for her.
Piper has a unique back story. Piper went to PA to another breeder at 11 months of age, where she reportedly never bonded with the family. It was decided that she would go to CT for some training with another breeder and during the exchange on a Tuesday morning she slipped out of a harness and was loose along the freeway and the woods in CT. She was pursued to no success. By Thursday night I landed in CT to assist the recovery group that graciously offered their time and expertise to set a trap to recover her safely. Piper entered into the trap early Saturday morning. From the outside of the trap Piper allowed me to slip the slip leads over her head but was in full flight mode ready to run again when we opened the door. I scooped her up and swore to never let her go again. Piper and I returned home Tuesday on a non-stop flight from Boston to San Francisco. I was by far more traumatized, than she was to fly in cargo. Upon landing it was clear that her trust in me had returned. Piper settled in quickly to being back home and resuming her favorite things. She has no trace of her ordeal and is as normal as any of our dogs.
Piper reminds me of her sire, Country Outback Spot On “Tucker” She shares many of the same mannerisms with her affection and intuitive nature. They both love to hug! Piper loves to climb into my lap and then turns upside down for her belly to be rubbed it is a daily ritual. Quite a fate that she can make this maneuver due to her size even when I am sitting in my office chair.
We are proud to have produced this quality girl, and look forward to her contribution to the breed development. We know she will produce outstanding offspring passing on the characteristics the breed is so well known for.
Pipers first litter will arrive in July 2024 at age 3
